training
Training at Northstar Team Foundation is a year-round journey. With expert coaching and structured progression pathways, athletes build skills, resilience, and a lifelong love for skiing and snowboarding.
Winter Training
The Northstar Teams provide a clear pathway for athletes to grow and progress, starting from a young age. Our training pipeline begins with all-mountain programs that build strong fundamentals and a love for the sport. From there, athletes can focus on specialized disciplines, including:

-
Alpine Racing: Technical skill development and competition preparation.
 -
Park & Pipe: Freestyle training for terrain parks and halfpipe.
 -
Moguls: Focused coaching for precision, agility, and competition.
 -
Mountain Exploration: All-mountain skills for those who want to challenge themselves across diverse terrain.

This progression ensures that every athlete, whether aiming for high-level competition or lifelong mountain adventure, has the opportunity to find their path and reach their potential.

Early Season Advantage: Access to the dedicated training arena gives our athletes a head start.
Consistent Progression: Reliable conditions, gates, and timing systems allow for focused skill development.

Expert Coaching: Certified coaches guide athletes at every level, from beginners to national competitors.
Camps and Dryland Training
The Northstar Ski and Snowboard Team offers off season training and programing that is designed to provide the necessary volume and experiences to progress to the highest levels.
Starting in 2023, we have provided camps for Alpine, Park & Pipe, Moguls, and Snowboard with a collaborative effort in conditioning camps. These include snow training, x-training, conditioning, and air awareness and mountain biking

All Alpine Race, Park & Pipe, Mogul and snowboard camps are run through the Northstar Team Foundation. Thanks to generous donations we are able to create a career pipline for our coaching staff and year round support for our Team athletes.
