our mission

In 2013, parents, coaches, and community leaders recognized a gap between what the Teams program could provide and what they believed was possible for our athletes. The Northstar Team Foundation was created to help close that gap by uniting families and coaches around shared priorities and directing resources where they could have the greatest impact.

 

Northstar Teams is managed by Northstar Resort, while the Foundation exists to support and strengthen the program. This partnership gives parents and supporters a voice in helping shape its direction. Over time, the Foundation has built strong relationships with Northstar leadership, ensuring our community remains a steady presence as personnel and priorities evolve.

 

Our mission has remained clear: to give every athlete the best opportunity to reach their full potential, both in sport and in life. Through this partnership, we’ve been able to invest in coaching development, on-hill improvements, scholarships, and community programs that help our athletes grow while keeping our mountain community thriving.
